Japanese technical outdoor apparel brand, Goldwin,Feb 29,2019 opened a new 676 sq ft brick-and-mortar store in Harajuku, Japan. It’s the third Goldwin store to open in the past two years, including Goldwin’s Tokyo store , which opened in November 2018, and, most recently, Goldwin’s US store in San Francisco,which opened in November 2019.
The Harajuku store represents a significant milestone for Goldwin, a 69-year-old maker of premium technical apparel label that is growing rapidly in both its homeland Japan as well as overseas in Europe and the US.
Exclusive to the Harajuku store will be a highly limited Goldwin capsule collection designed in collaboration with famed Japanese nature photographer Naoki Ishikawa. The collection, called WEARSSETS, includes a down jacket and down pants printed with Naoki Ishikawa’s breathtaking mountain photography.
